Deep Dive with Ali Abdaal
Великобритания
Добавлен 7 сен 2021
Dr Ali Abdaal is the world’s most followed productivity expert and author of 'Feel Good-Productivity' the brand new book that reveals why the secret to productivity isn’t discipline, it’s joy. In his podcast, Deep Dive, Ali sits down with inspiring creators, thinkers, entrepreneurs and high performers to help listeners build lives that they love.
Ali’s a firm believer that happiness isn’t the result of success - in fact, happiness is the key to success in the first place. Ali made this discovery while working as a doctor in a chaotic hospital ward. In the past, hard work had been the answer to every obstacle in his life. But no amount of hard work was going to combat panic and burnout.
So, Ali dedicated himself to figuring out a new approach to productivity - one that focuses on enjoying the journey and working towards truly meaningful goals. Deep Dive, with its authentic and engaging conversations, will give you all the insights you need to do just that.

The Science of Relationships: This Is Killing Your Relationship
Weird world we live in that 2 of the creators I followed even before Ali, Kaelyn and Holly, are now working with Ali. Also, I thought Ali is downsizing?
Ali looks bored
Louise is beautiful, inside and out!
I found this conversation very enlightening when talking about networking and the idealized version compared to being a more approachable candidate for future opportunities. Being seen making good work was a very powerful sentiment rather than forcefully making opportunities and connections form.
zero risk? no such thing- im not even start watching
Ali was quite transparent in this one. Great value
Sounds good. I've been trying this for years. Results: meh
Yay!!!
foxy yet calming.
man... this was PACKED with great info - Jay de knows what he's talking about with this. 🙂
I am 63 and life is not boring. 🎉😂
good shit
I wonder if these styles of communication work if you’re married to an avoidant attachment style person?
wow a freaking great episode!!
The book is $25 now. I ordered it today.
Ali is so attractive when he listens like tht.. 😅
I lost my son, too. الحمد الله على كل حال My life has been better ever since 😊
More manifestation tropes rolled out by yet another ‘passionate’ coach. Nonsense and potentially dangerous stuff.
So exiciting.. really enjoyed🎉🎉
Can you realise your podcasts in hindi language because it can help so much people ❤
Well said
Powerful
But like, how fo do I do it? Just a brain dump? Or something more intentional?
She’s insufferable 😅
I was kind of sad to hear Cal say that he doesn't advise people to follow their passion because Plato and the ancients didn't advise that. Following your passion is a relatively new concept. So? Back then, people were more in survival mode. I definitely followed my passion, and I love my work (cell biology/medical research).
4 hours 😭😭😭
Yeah true so I didn't understand 😕 What did he say ❤ u though dr 🎉🎉🎉
What a beautiful open and present way to be! it seems just right to me that the apple tree outside my window is twitching with a light rain. Would I be correct in saying that this is a strategy that is alive to the moment rather than one that marches forward like Roman soldiers on campaign? lighthearted but earnest and unattached mingling as a kind of Proximity bids… Be in the room where it happens. Be ready to be curious be ready to be surprised. ❤️
I recently went out with a woman I've been talking to for the past five months for the first time. I met her in college and we were too busy to start going out, so we agreed to wait until the summer. Well, she took three jobs this summer and still didn't have much time to go out. We were luckily able to go out one evening because one of her jobs closed temporarily when she was supposed to work, so I decided to take her to dinner and then paint at a local park next to a lake. We asked each other general “get to know you” and dating questions, and we matched on our morals and values. We also matched on the same goals in life and most of the big important things when searching for a relationship. It’s been two weeks, so I asked her out again. She sent me a text explaining that I'm one of the sweetest people she’s ever met, but she felt like we didn't have a romantic connection when we went out (that “spark”). I know from experience this isn’t something to count someone out on after a first date, but I can’t tell her that. We were somewhat friends beforehand and had a few classes together. It just sucks because I felt like if she had more free time to go do stuff so we could bond, we could’ve worked out. But, she told me on the date that I was the fourth person to take her out in the past six years, which was when her first and last relationship ended. She also told me she has a fear of getting too attached to someone, but at the same time has a fear of being alone. She also spoke about her ex quite a bit. I guess I feel like I'm doing everything wrong with this method of dating, but then again she doesn't seem like she’s ready to actively date. My first relationship ended seven months ago, and I never brought her up once while this girl ranted a little about her ex from six years ago. I guess she hasn't coped with what happened yet? Idek why I'm putting this out here. I guess I just want to know what all of you think. Is the “spark” on a first date a make-it-or-break-it scenario, or should people go out with someone a few times before deciding to call something off? And, am I wrong for holding out on a person who is genuinely a good person? (My other options were rude or weren’t looking to date for marriage. Plus, I was very attracted to this person I took out over everyone else). We both just graduated college and are going to be teachers, so our schedules will align in a couple of months. Because of this, I was still willing to hold out since I believed there was potential for something great. Am I dumb? 😂
love hearing more from your team. What a wonderful culture and environment you are creating
Ads every 8 minutes? A bit annoying
Thanks daniel
Hobbies bro cmon!😩 55:22
Thank you so much for the calibre of content on your channel. I was definitely not expecting to find something this good. I hope I stay on this side of YT ❤
🏆🎖🏅🥇
Nice podcast. Nice that your video’s has also talking about what can be improved and what kind of challenges people go through. So I as a viewer can get an inside how others deal with things and also learn from that. And I can relate to things because not only the perfect things are presented
Ali you are such a good listener, is fascinating 🥰
It sounds like selective mutism to me!
2-year life-lessons from a gap-year good-girl 1. Literally anything can be studied and learned, even things we believe to be intuitive 2. Few things are as stressful as cognitive dissonance 3. Happiness is something to be created and nurtured, not a result of goals reached 4. There are no rules - just actions and consequences 5. The connection between effort and outcome is not as straightforward as I’d like for it to be Future lectures 1. How to run a successful business 2. How to be fully independent 3. How to feel fulfilment in the day-to-day 4. How to build a community 5. How to find my person
Ali I know that you are treating this as a passion project, but your podcasts are amazing and provide a lot of value. Even though there aren't a lot of engagement maybe the type of people in this podcasts are the type that can be easier to moneytize. It's easier to grow to a 50M business than 50M followers. Look at the comments here :)
I really enjoyed the meeting, and it was very useful for me. Small notice: Repeat some words like: and, but.. make some distractions. Thank you kaelyn, Hope you the best, and i suscribed your channel after this meeting.
Too much "like","like","like" from the interviewer. It makes it unpleasant to listen ...lots of young people speak like that now,it shouldn't be encouraged.
Absolutely brilliant!!!
Great session 😊
Wow... She's a capitalist literally unknowingly advocating for socialism lol! These Wall street and business broes (and gals) seriously aren't self aware.
I really enjoyed listening to this she has a thought process I enjoy following!
1. Abundance: Operating from a place of financial security allows for better decision-making and long-term planning. 2. More time does not equal more work done : Efficient use of limited time often yields better results. 3. Financial goal of 2x income from day job: Setting a goal to make twice your job income from a side hustle gives you cushion and stability and reduces risk. 4. Gradual transition: A gradual shift from employment to entrepreneurship allows for building a sustainable and scalable business model. 5. Identify bottlenecks and double down on
Cal Newport and his books changed my life!!
Amazing podcast. There's alot of learnings from this. But the biggest lesson of all for me is to put more love into the world 😄
How much do you make doing this? Is it more than a Dr?
